F4TFriday #78 - Bits & Bobs

#F4TFriday
As the year draws ever closer to a close and the holidays approach, this time of year is often one of reflection as well as celebration.

Keeping the reflective theme in mind, what we want to know this week is:
When do you feel happiest in your skin?
How do you maintain balance in your life? Is there anything you need to change?
What has been a particularly challenging situation that you have faced? How did you handle it? What did you learn from it?
What does it mean to live authentically?
What are the things that inspire you and how do they work for you?
If you could change something about yourself, what would it be?
BIG "Thank you!" this week to missy, author of submissy (aka @5ubmissy) for providing the inspiration for this week's question.

PS: If there's a question you'd like us to ask, feel free to contact us via the suggestion box or on twitter.

  1. So... I have to admit to being slightly puzzled about how this works, in terms of timing. Do you post the question(s) on a Friday? And can they be answered through the following Friday? {I'm in a significantly different time zone, which is part of what makes this a bit muddled for me. Plus, my OCD is like, "If the meme says Friday you must post on FRIDAY!" Because, brain.}

  2. Hi. Basically, the prompt is posted on Friday at 10am (UK time). The prompt then stays open until midnight Thursday/Friday (UK time again) giving me about 10 hours (minus time I'm asleep) to do the shout-outs and admin ahead of the next prompt.

    Essentially, once the prompt goes live, you have a whole week (minus 10 hours) in which to link up to it.

    I accept it's maybe not the most logical way of doing things compared to other memes, but I'm kind of used to it now, and changing it would only end up confusing me. 😉
